I call this antique white because I use a white underglaze to acheive these rich results. Each piece it so different as the iron rich body it reast on burns through in different ways to leave rust to white variations. The dark pewter you see is from me sanding through it all to reveal the color of the clay after reduction. The interior glaze is a heavy iron saturate that complements the surface perfectly.
Not only does the patina vary from piece to piece it can vary widely on one piece itself.
