For this first workshop in my studio, I will not have a specific curriculum. My favorite way to teach is to work from the collective interests of the class. We will begin by discussing our goals, interest, and/or ambitions and tailor the class to meet those expectations.
I will start by demonstrating several sectional pieces since these take a while to get through the process. While those begin drying the class will transition to working on their own pieces, whether it is sectional work or smaller work.
Our objective is to understanding what is happening between our hands and how to achieve our desired result.

Spinning Earth Pottery is located on 30 acers in the country at the end of a private road. Autumn is a beatiful time to be at the studio because the oak, hickory, and walnut trees will have their fall colors on. The property includes roughly a half mile of walking trails. Often times we see deer, fox, and turkeys right outside the studio door. While we cannot promise a visit from these creatures, they are always watching us.
